BEE PARTNERS

Bee ImageMichael Berolzheimer founded Bee Partners to identify promising technical entrepreneurs with a clear need for a business partner, and in doing so, has built an advisory business for early startups. A co-founder of two companies, I have suffered the battle wounds of entrepreneurship and have a deep understanding of the significant challenges facing startups. I want anyone who takes the plunge into entrepreneurship to have the highest probability of success, and thus, Bee Partners was born.

Armed with a dual degree in Economics and Computer Science from Vanderbilt, I started my career in investment banking with DLJ/Credit Suisse, learning the ins and outs of the alternative asset (private equity, venture capital, hedge funds) marketplace. After my two-year stint as an Analyst, I convinced my client at the time (Harvest Partners) to take me under their wings and teach me the private equity business.

I loved the fast pace of New York, but ever since selling contraband candy in middle school and interning at The Sierra Network when I was 13 years old, I have had a passion for entrepreneurship. I entered UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business to focus on entrepreneurship and meet new people back home in the Bay Area.

I co-founded one company in business school, another shortly after, and I joined another in its developing stages. I have experienced first-hand the challenges that startups face and I am thrilled to jump onto the next startup rollercoaster!
